My father painted in oils as a hobby and tried to encourage me to do the same. However, due to lack of inspiration and time, I did not start painting until I took early retirement. For lack of journal training I developed my own technique in watercolours. I paint a variety of subjects in a high degree of realism. I also work in graphite where my subjects are mostly portraits.
